Deutsche Bank (XETRA: DBKGn.DE / NYSE: DB) has signed an agreement with Hanoi Building Commercial Joint Stock Bank ("Habubank") to expand its presence in Vietnam and to further support its overall growth strategy in Asia Pacific. Deutsche Bank will assume up to 20% ownership in Habubank, subject to administrative and regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Deutsche Bank will also enter into a framework strategic cooperation and knowledge transfer agreement with Habubank. Strategic cooperation will include joint exploration of potential partnership in the areas of credit cards, affluent banking and the development and distribution of investment products. Knowledge transfer will comprise Deutsche Bank sharing with Habubank expertise in the areas of treasury and risk management to help support its commitment to international best practice. Deutsche Bank will become the single largest shareholder of Habubank and also be entitled to representation on its Board of Directors.

Established in 1988 and based in the capital city of Hanoi, Habubank was the first joint stock bank in Vietnam and is today a leading bank in the country with a network of 21 branches and approximately 560 staff providing retail and business banking services to over 75,000 retail and business clients. Habubank was recently awarded "Vietnam Bank of the Year 2006" by The Banker magazine.

Deutsche Bank sẽ mua 20% cổ phần Habubank



Theo hợp đồng ký kết hôm nay với Ngân hàng cổ phần Nhà Hà Nội (Habubank), Deutsche Bank sẽ nắm tới 20% quyền sở hữu trong Habubank, ngay khi được sự chấp thuận của cơ quan nhà nước có thẩm quyền.

Các điều khoản về tài chính trong hợp đồng không được công bố.

Deutsche Bank cũng sẽ ký kết một hợp đồng khung về chuyển giao kiến thức và hợp tác chiến lược với Habubank, nhằm cùng nhau tìm kiếm sự hợp tác tiềm năng trong các lĩnh vực thẻ tín dụng, cung cấp dịch vụ ngân hàng cho khách hàng lớn và phát triển và phân phối các sản phẩm đầu tư.

Khi việc mua bán cổ phần được chấp thuận, Deutsche Bank sẽ trở thành cổ đông lớn nhất, có quyền tham gia HĐQT của Habubank.

Theo dự thảo nghị định về việc nhà đầu tư nước ngoài mua cổ phần trong ngân hàng Việt Nam, đối tác chiến lược nước ngoài có thể sở hữu tới 20% vốn của các nhà băng cổ phần, thay vì mức 10% như hiện nay. Tổng mức sở hữu của các nhà đầu tư nước ngoài trong một ngân hàng cổ phần vẫn giữ tỷ lệ 30%. Dự thảo nghị định đã được Ngân hàng Nhà nước hoàn tất và chờ Chính phủ phê duyệt.

Nhiều ngân hàng nước ngoài đang ngóng chờ nghị định này ra đời nhằm tăng tỷ lệ sở hữu trong các đối tác Việt Nam.

FRANKFURT (AFX) - Deutsche Bank AG (nyse: DB - news - people ) said it has signed an agreement with Hanoi Building Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Habubank) to acquire up to a 20 pct stake in the Vietnamese bank.

No financial details were disclosed.

In a speech at the annual results news conference, chief executive Josef Ackermann said the bank is ''''very confident'''' of being able to sustain its growth momentum.

''''We will continue to invest in our core businesses, through organic growth and targeted acquisitions,'''' he said, adding: ''''We will only pursue good opportunities.''''
Ackermann also reiterated the bank''''s 2008 full year pretax profit target of 8.4 bln eur.

He also said that the Deutsche Bank is aiming for double-digit average growth in diluted earnings per share and a sustainable annual pretax return on equity of 25 pct.

The bank earlier reported a consensus-beating 81 pct rise in fourth quarter pretax profit.

Ackermann reaffirmed Deutsche Bank''''s business strategy, saying that ''''a fundamental change of strategic direction would not be right''''.

Deutsche Bank will expand its Global Transaction Banking and its Private Clients and Asset Management division as well as reinforcing its leading market position in its Corporate and Investment Bank division, he added.

''''We will continue to maintain our cost, risk, capital and regulatory discipline'''', he said.

thằng naàylàm ăn ko bằng hdb nhưng thằng này được mấy cha ngân hàng nhà nước ngoài kia đỡ nên duétbank nó mua. làm ăn tạm được, chưa gọi là xuất sắc.

Thằng này và VP gioóng nhau ở chỗ. NN chấp thuận việc mua 20% cổ phần nhưng Nhà Nước chưa cho phép . Khi nào mấy bác trong NHNN gom đủ thì sẽ cho phép Nc ngoài mua 20% thôi he he

Bác ơi, việc nâng room lên 20% cho cổ đông chiến lược nước ngoài là đã chắc chắn rồi mà. Thời gian để Ngân hàng Nhà nước phê duyệt chỉ còn tính bằng đơn vị ngày thôi.

Mà nếu như bác nói thì trong khi các bác Ngân hàng Nhà nước gom hàng VPB, HBB sao anh em ta không tranh thủ gom nhanh hơn, mạnh hơn các bác ấy nhỉ ?

Mình gom nhanh lên không có VPB, HBB nó lên 18x - 20x mất thôi. Toàn là tin tốt cả, chẹp...chẹp... sao ngon thế không biết

Habubank đã chính thức bán 20% cho Deutsche Bank, tập đoàn tài chính ngân hàng hàng đầu của Đức và nằm trong TOP 10 Tập đoàn Tài chính Ngân hàng lớn nhất Thế giới.

Deutsche Bank đã chấp nhận mức giá khoảng 6.0 để mua Habubank. Xin chúc mừng các cổ đông của Habubank !!!

Với tình hình này, Habubank lại có thêm khoảng hơn 1200 tỉ thặng dư vốn qua việc bán 20% cho Deutsche Bank. Cộng với khoản thặng dư 685 tỉ từ năm 2006 chưa phân bổ chuyển qua thì cổ đông Habubank đang đứng trước nguy cơ "bị" chia thưởng thặng dư đến 1885 tỉ VND bằng cổ phiếu !!!. (Trong khi vốn của Habubank mới khoảng 1000 tỉ thôi. Ôi thặng dư còn lớn hơn cả vốn mới sợ chứ !!!)

Kiểu này thì phải đi ôm thêm Habubank gấp thôi. Bao nhiêu là tin tốt thế này thì giá Habubank không lên 20x mới là chuyện lạ.

Anh em đã ôm thêm tối đa Habubank chưa ???
