Sao nó lại đánh giá Techcombank vào đây nhỉ? Nếu nó đánh giá VCB thì còn có lý, Techcombank đâu phải là ngân hàng lớn để nó quan tâm đâu?

Thêm tin nữa, ko biết Bond Vietnam phát hành ra giờ Rate lên bao nhiêu sau các vụ hạ mức tín nhiệm thế này

HANOI, June 4 (Reuters) - Moody''s downgraded its ratings outlook on Vietnam to negative from positive on Wednesday, the second outlook downgrade in a week as the developing economy grapples with 25 percent inflation, a huge trade deficit and pressures on its balance of payments.
Following a year of overheating and high credit growth, 2008 has been strained for Vietnam, where macroeconomic stability was taken for granted as it boasted one of the world''s highest growth rates, averaging 7.5 percent a year since 2000.
Moody''s said the swing in the ratings outlook reflected the agency''s view that the country''s economic imbalances were greater than anticipated.
"For the authorities, the dilemma now is how to dampen growth without throwing the economy into recession or damaging the environment for FDI," said Tom Byrne, a senior vice president at Moody''s Investor Service, referring to foreign direct investment.
The Moody''s report was published less than a week after Fitch Ratings cut its outlook on Vietnam''s sovereign rating to negative from stable.
Fitch said authorities had not dealt quickly or strongly enough with inflation, potentially posing risks to the stability of the banking system.
Moody''s changed Vietnam''s BA3 rating outlook to negative from positive. Fitch had lowered the outlook on Vietnam''s BB-minus sovereign rating to negative from stable.
Government ministers and the central bank have been working on packages of measures to restore confidence, although growth projections remain high at 7 percent for 2008 and the first five months saw record FDI pledges of more than $14 billion.
"We saw this coming but we did not know how bad the rating would be, and this is not conducive to the economic situation here now," said an official from the Finance Ministry, who declined to be identified.
"There will be a lot of work to do from the government side to restore confidence," he said.
Inflation hit 25.2 percent in May, the seventh consecutive month in double digits, sapping domestic investor confidence in the Communist-ruled country where imports have soared and more than trebled the trade deficit in the first five months of 2008.
Offshore forwards markets are pricing in a nearly 30 percent fall in the Vietnamese dong in a year.
"The economic imbalances now emerging are greater than anticipated, thereby derailing the improving trend previously evident in the country''s credit fundamentals," Byrne said.
"Rising inflation is proving very difficult to control, and pressures have rapidly built up on the balance of payments."
In recent months, equity investors have swapped shares for gold, consumers hoarded rice as prices leapt, workers went on strike for higher wages and people rushed to buy dollars in the black market to pay off dollar-denominated debts. Trước Bắc Hà BIDV có mời Moody''s vào để đánh giá xếp hạng tín nhiệm ngân hàng đối. Sau đó Techcombank cũng học đòi mời Moody''s vào đánh giá. Thời đó, triển vọng kinh tế và lĩnh vực ngân hàng tốt nên rating của Moody''s là công cụ PR hiệu quả. Vừa rồi Moody giảm xếp hạng tín nhiệm của Quốc gia Việt Nam, giờ là giảm tín nhiệm đối với các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam. Bây giờ thì việc mời rating lại là gậy ông đập lưng ông.

Bác là dân Ngân hàng, đúng là như vậy, Bắc Hà BIDV hồi đó làm trò mời "Mút đi" vào định giá ra vẻ minh bạch... Bây h thì công cốc. Nhưng thực ra ko phải Moody''s chủ động định hạng. Đấy là các hợp đồng ký hàng năm rồi, nó cứ vào làm thường kỳ thôi.

Các bác biết 1 mà ko biết 2 rồi, định hạng của 1 thằng tổ chức trong 1 quốc gia thì mức trần của nó cũng chỉ = cái rating của chính quốc gia đấy thôi, ko hơn đc . Do vậy hạ rating của Vietnam thì tất yếu cũng phải downgrade BIDV, Tech và ACB xuống ....ko phải PR cho gà nhà nhưng về độ transperancy thì BIDV là 1st trong mấy ông quốc doanh đấy ạh, định hàng Moody, Kiểm toán quốc tế gần 15 năm, phân loại nợ xấu theo đúng điều 7 - 493 luôn ...
