Kết phiên 28 tháng 8, VN-Index tăng nhẹ 0,47 điểm (0,05%) lên 977,26 điểm, HNX-Index giảm 0,53 điểm (0,52%) xuống 102,32 điểm.







Thị trường hồi phục sau 2 phiên giảm mạnh đầu tuần

Thanh khoản giao dịch vẫn ở mức thấp, chỉ đạt 4.100 tỷ đồng trên toàn thị trường. Khối nhà đầu tư nước ngoài hôm nay mua ròng nhẹ khoảng 40 tỷ đồng. Các mã được khối này mua nhiều là BID (BIDV), NVL (Novaland), HAG (HAGL)...

Các cổ phiếu vốn hóa lớn đỡ chỉ số hôm nay là: VCB (Vietcombank), VNM (Vinamilk), VHM (Vinhomess), SAB (Sabeco), GAS (PVGas)...

Ở chiều ngược lại, các cổ phiếu thuộc nhóm bất động sản, dệt may, thủy sản, thép, hàng không, bán lẻ chìm trong sắc đỏ.

Cổ phiếu SCR của CTCP Địa ốc Sài Gòn Thương Tín (TTC Land) tiếp tục chuỗi ngày lao dốc khi giảm 0,2% xuống còn 6.620 đồng/cổ phiếu, mức thấp nhất kể từ cuối năm 2016. Lãnh đạo TTC Land cũng từng chia sẻ tại ĐHCĐ 2018 rằng giá cổ phiếu SCR trên sàn cũng là một vấn đề đau đầu của công ty.



Cổ phiếu SCR của nhà đại gia Đặng Văn Thành liên tục suy giảm trong thời gian gần đây

Theo BCTC nửa đầu 2019, doanh thu của TTC Land chỉ đạt 418 tỷ đồng, giảm 77% so với cùng kỳ 2018. Công ty lãi ròng 133 tỷ đồng, giảm 25%.

Cổ đông lớn nhất của TTC Land là Tập đoàn Thành Thành Công của nhà đại gia Đặng Văn Thành với sở hữu hơn 22% vốn. Con trai ông Thành là ông Đặng Hồng Anh cũng đang là cổ đông lớn của TTC Land khi nắm 10,1% vốn.

Mới đây nhất, CTCP Xuất nhập khẩu Bến Tre đã thông báo bán ra 10,6 triệu cổ phiếu SCR và không còn là cổ đông lớn của TTC Land

Một số khách hàng thương mại vẫn còn nguồn cung đường Thái trữ lại. Giao dịch bán sỉ ở mức 11,000 đ/kg, bán lẻ là 11,500 đ/kg. Lượng hàng đường Thái sang bao (với các thương hiệu: Ngọc Bích, Tấn Phát, Thành Thành Phát BP, Mỹ Linh…) ngày càng nhiều trên thị trường mua bán công khai.

Forbes Vietnam announces top 50 brands in 2019

Forbes Vietnam has announced Vietnam’s 50 top valuable brands for 2019. Brands of the Vietnamese leading firms have been estimated at 9.3 billion USD, an increase of 1.2 billion USD in compared with the previous announcement, the third time.

Vinamilk, Viettel, Sabeco, Vinhomes, Masan Consumer, MobiFone, VinaPhone, Vietcombank, FPT and Vincom Retail are ten companies with the most valuable brands.

Vinamilk keeps leading the group with brand valued at 2.2 billion USD, following by Viettel with 2.1 billion USD. These are two companies having most valuable brands in the list of ten companies.

Beside, Viettel was also named as firm having fastest-growing brand value in the list. Viettel brand value increased to 2.163 billion USD this year from 1.397 billion a year ago.

According to data from Forbes Vietnam, there are 20 Vietnamese brands with value of over 100 million USD.

In term of sector, food and beverage has 10 brands, agriculture, securities, tourism and hospitality has only one representative each. Sectors including consumer goods, banking, telecommunication, real estate, retailing hold higher ratio in term of value of brand.

In compared with 2018 list, this year’s list had additional 10 brands, making total number of 50 to meet the development demand of enterprises and the economy.

Though the measuring method was unchanged, the ranking has been categorized by sectors. After being categorized, the brands with most value were put on the top of the categorized lists.

Instead of making the ranking based on brand value in general, biggest brand value categorized for sectors helps the list to have more outstanding brands in various fields and reflects specific characteristics of each sectors.

Forbes Vietnam followed valuation standard of Forbes (from U.S.) to estimate role of brands for the companies’ business operations. Business brands with most value belong to companies having large revenue in sectors they play leading role.

After having list of 100 companies having influenced brands and their well-known products, Forbes Vietnam measured pretax income of the companies, bank interest rate they have to pay and contribution of invisible assets.

Forbes collected the information from financial reports released by the companies. Non-listed companies were asked to provide financial data and Forbes Vietnam audited the information via independent sources. The valuation process was supported by VietCapiatal Securities Companies.

Income brought by business brand was accounted as contribution from invisible assets after have tax deducted. Final business brand value was determined based on averaged Price-to-Earnings Ratio (the ratio for valuing a company that measures its current share price relative to its per-share earnings) in respective sectors. For non-listed companies, Forbes Vietnam applied comparison method for enterprises of the same sectors, same scale with the listed companies for brand valuation.

As the calculation method requires financial data, Forbes was not able to determine business brand of large-scaled State-owned companies which do not release financial data.
