Additionally due to substantially lower rainfall during last season’s monsoon (June to September 2018) as also during the retreating monsoon i.e. North East Monsoon (October to December 2018), water in most of the reservoirs in Maharashtra is much below normal levels, which remained so, for most of the last 7 to 8 months. Therefore, the indications are that the acreage under sugarcane in Maharashtra for next year’s harvesting will be significantly lower than the current season.


Therefore, at an all India level there is a general expectation that the sugarcane availability will be much lower in 2019-20 than what has been in the current season, thereby reducing sugar production next year.


Further, with additional ethanol production capacities getting installed and expanding existing capacities at a very fast pace, the sugar industry will be better placed to divert larger quantities of ‘B’ heavy molasses/sugarcane juice, away from sugar into ethanol in the last season. That, in turn will further reduce sugar production in the next season.

he major reason of the lawsuit is the fact that Brazil was concerned with amendment of Thailand’s cane and sugar act of 2014. According to the act, the sugar quota requirement categorizes the product into three groups. The first one includes sugar for domestic consumption; the second is the one exported by Thailand Cane and Sugar Company Ltd.; the last one belongs to the sugar exported by Thai sugar factories. The requirement determined sugar amount and prices as well as projects to support sugar cane planters by set a purchasing price for sugar cane and introducing cane and sugar funds to attract Thai farmers so that they do sugar cane farming more.

Deputy Minister of Industry Mr. Somchai Hanhiran, on behalf of the Industry Minister, stated that Thailand’s sugar prices would refer to the world’s prices which allowed real-time competition. This is the sign that the country intends to restructure prices of cane and sugar and shows the world that it accepted the world’s market competition along with amendment of the current cane and sugar act. Once the amendment is completed together with the restructure of cane and sugar prices, the industrial system for the products concerned will be formalized.

Giá thành đường của Thái Lan tầm 8.200-8.750đ/kg (including other costs of production and distribution):

Giá thành sx đường của SLS khoảng 8.220 đ/kg (BCTC Q3). Về mặt cạnh tranh là ngang ngửa kể cả tính về tới thị trường VN, khác là đường Thái được trợ giá.

Mấy ô hiệp hội mà k yếu thì ngành đường khỏe hơn thái rồi,chỉ cần thắt chặt đg lậu 5 năm,là nội tại doanh nghiệp chơi tay bo đc với thái,đây toàn lợi ích nhóm tham gia buôn lạu đg

Theo mình tính toán thì giá thành vụ 2018-2019 của SLS chỉ giảm khoảng 5% so với mùa vụ trước (BCTC Q3 vẫn là sp của mùa vụ trước), do giá mía thu mua chỉ giảm 500k/tấn.

Xem BCTC của SBT, khá giật mình khi tỷ suất LN gộp sp đường tăng từ 5% quý trước lên 13-14%% quý này, không hiểu nó trộn gì vào đường

Giảm giá thành do giảm giá mía 50đ,và chất lượng mía tốt hơn,chắc vụ này trung bình lhoảng 7,8 mía 1 đường,quý này giá vốn giảm chút nữa vì đúng thời điểm mía chín nhất

SBT thâu tóm ngành đường, nhưng ai đầu tư cp nó đều lỗ nát lon...

Giá hiện tại vẫn thấp. Dưới 10k. Cuối năm mình vẫn tin là sẽ lên tầm 11 12k. 1 số dấu hiệu nhen nhóm rồi
