Asian Stocks Gain as Credit Concerns Ease; James Hardie Rises

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Asian stocks rose, extending last week''s rally, as South Korea pledged to pump $10.8 billion into its economy and India cut interest rates to ease the fallout from the global credit crisis.

Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Co. surged 9.8 percent in Seoul after UBS AG recommended investors buy its stock and as the government stepped up efforts to prevent the nation''s first recession in a decade. James Hardie Industries NV, the biggest seller of home siding in the U.S., gained 6.4 percent in Sydney and National Australia Bank Ltd. climbed 2.6 percent amid expectations the country''s central bank will lower borrowing costs tomorrow.

``Risk appetite is picking up and it is driven by the improvement in credit markets and very attractive valuations in equities,'''' said Nader Naeimi, a Sydney-based senior investment strategist at AMP Capital Investors, which manages about $108 billion. ``The coordinated steps taken by governments are beginning to bear results.''''

The MSCI Asia Pacific excluding Japan Index rose 10.43, or 4.3 percent, to 254.12 as of 11:35 a.m. in Hong Kong. Japanese markets are shut for a holiday. All of the Asian gauge''s 10 industry groups advanced, with financial companies contributing the most to the gain. Seven stocks rose for each that fell.

Markets elsewhere in Asia advanced. Australia''s S&P/ASX 200 Index added 2.5 percent. South Korea''s Kospi Index climbed 2.4 percent. Singapore''s Straits Times Index gained 4.6 percent.

Interest Rates

BHP Billiton Ltd., the world''s largest mining company, advanced after a measure of metals prices completed its biggest weekly gain in more than two years. Proton Holdings Bhd., Malaysia''s national carmaker, climbed 1.5 percent after the government reduced gasoline and diesel prices.

The MSCI index of Asian stocks that includes Japan rallied 6.9 percent last week, the most in more than a year, as central bank steps to unlock credit markets spurred demand for the region''s shares. The gauge still lost 20 percent in October, part of a sell-off that erased more than $9.5 trillion from the value of stocks worldwide, as credit-related losses and writedowns by financial companies approached $700 billion.

The Reserve Bank of India on Nov. 1 pushed its repurchase rate down for the second time in two weeks, capping a week of interest-rate reductions in Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan. Cuts may continue this week, with the European Central Bank and Bank of England both setting policy on Nov. 6. Australia''s central bank may also cut rates on Nov. 4.

Futures on the Standard & Poor''s 500 Index climbed 2.2 percent. The benchmark measure gained 1.5 percent on Oct. 31 as JPMorgan Chase & Co. said it will modify terms on $110 billion of mortgages and delay foreclosures.

Australian Banks

Hyundai Marine jumped 9.8 percent to 11,750 won. The stock was raised to ``buy'''' from ``neutral'''' at UBS.

James Hardie gained 6.4 percent to A$4.52, the most in a month. JPMorgan, the largest U.S. bank by market value, said it won''t start new foreclosure proceedings on some loans while it finds ways to make payments easier on $110 billion of problem mortgages.

National Australia Bank added 2.6 percent to A$24.62, Westpac Banking Corp. advanced 3.2 percent to A$20.92, and Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. climbed 3.9 percent.

The rate Australia''s banks charge each other for three- month loans fell 19 basis points, or 0.19 percentage point, to 5.62 percent in Sydney. The Reserve Bank of Australia pumped A$1.48 billion ($992 million) into money markets today.

BHP gained 3 percent to A$28.82. Rio Tinto Group, the world''s third-largest mining company, added 2.5 percent to A$79.57. A measure of six metals traded on the London Metal Exchange surged 7.8 percent last week, its sharpest weekly advance since June 2006. It''s the measure''s first weekly gain since Sept. 12.

Thời gian qua búsy với công việc của Quỹ từ Cty mẹ, nên hầu như không có thời gian lên f319. Hôm nay rảnh rỗi làm vài dòng chia sẽ:

Nhưng TT chỉ chạy được 5 phiên thì down dài. Thành thật xin lỗi anh em do trình của vnstocks không đủ trình để nhận thức hết sự tác động tâm lý cảa khủng hỏang thế giới, khiến nhận định không chính xác.
- HN mưa lũ lụt quá, cuộc sống khó khăn. vnstocks tôi cũng gởi lời chia sẽ đến anh em trader HN. Hy vọng sớm ra HN để gặp anh em.
- Về thị trường hiện nay: Mấy ngày nay, TT có sự up nhẹ. Thanh khoản dễ dàng. Mua bán thoải mái. Một số mã Bls: SSI, STB, PPC, FPT đó . Một số mã khác chưa lên: HPG, DPM.. bị NN bán nhiều. Tuy nhiên không đáng ngại vì đó là kết quả làm việc giữa cơ quan quản lý và Quỹ NN. Chiến thuật mua chéo bán chéo cùng hỗ trợ TT đôi bên cùng có lời là cách mua bán của TT lúc này và hết sức khoa học. Vì vậy việc mua và bán mã nào, lúc này là hết sức cần thiết và suy tính. TT up nhưng sẽ không up tất cả. Mà sẽ up cuốn chiếu nhé.
Như vậy TT có sóng mạnh ? Và khi nào sẽ có? vnstocks mạo muội nói rằng: Trong tháng 11 này TT sẽ có 2 đợt sóng. Giữa 2 đợt sóng đó sẽ có 1 khỏang nghĩ chừng 3-4 ngày. Khỏang nghĩ ấy ta hiểu nôm na là cách đổi sân trong đá banh. BBs và NN sẽ đổi sân cho nhau.. và cách đổi như thế nào, anh em xem GD NN sẽ đoán ra.
Vậy khi nào thì bắt đầu cơn sóng: Xin thưa trong tuần này.

Theo như tin tức mà vnstocks nhận được thì tuần này:
- Hạ LSCB xuống còn 12%
- Lùi thời hạn đánh thuế CK hết năm 2009. Vì vậy

Cờ hiệu sẽ phất ở PVF...khi PVF quay đầu lúc ấy cơn sóng sẽ bắt đầu..hãy nhìn PVF. Theo dự đoán của vnstocks, thời gian sẽ là thứ 4 hay thứ 5 mà thui. vnstocks tôi không khuyên mua PVS, hãy chon mà tốt mà các bạn quan tâm. Tuy nhiên hay tham chiếu vào PVF.
