Giá vàng ngày hôm nay không giữ được mức tăng qua đêm trên thị trường Ấn Độ. Tuy nhiên giá giảm đã không kéo được người dân tới các cửa hàng trang sức, vì họ dự đoán vàng có khả năng rớt xuống mức thấp hơn nữa.



Một số người tham gia thị trường cho rằng vàng đã bị mua quá nhiều trong mấy ngày qua và do đó sắp có sự điều chỉnh mạnh. Hầu hết các nhà đầu tư những người đã tăng cường thế mua trong mấy ngày qua đã bán bớt một phần tài sản nắm giữ mặc dù giá cổ phiếu đang giảm. Tuy nhiên, một nhà buôn ở Mumbai nói đồng Rupee yếu đi đã hạn chế đà giảm giá vàng.



Tại Mumbai, vàng tinh khiết và vàng chuẩn giảm lần lượt Rs 105 và Rs 100, xuống gần Rs 11.705 và Rs 11.645/10gr. Trong khi đó, ở Delhi giá vàng giảm Rs 150 xuống Rs 11,850, và tại Kolkata con số mất đi là Rs 100 xuống Rs 12,105 / 10 gr.



Tuy nhiên, giá vàng trên thị trường Châu Âu lại tăng hơn 6% xuống $748.10 vào ngày thứ Tư sau khi ngân hàng Anh tuyên bố hạ tỉ lệ lãi suất xuống 150 điểm cơ bản và ngân hàng Thụy sĩ cũng giảm 0.5%.Ở London, vàng giao ngay sau khi chạm mức cao trong ngày $748 đã đứng ở $746/748.50, nhưng vẫn tăng so với mức $739.45 trên thị trường NY vào ngày thứ Tư.

SINGAPORE : Gold and silver prices continued their southward journey in Asian trade Friday as the dollar surge eroded the appeal of these precious metals as an alternative investment.

Gold for immediate delivery fell 0.6% to $728.45 an ounce at 9:19 a.m. in Singapore. Silver for immediate delivery was down 0.2% at $9.9613 an ounce

December-delivery gold fell 0.7% at $727.30 an ounce in after-hours electronic trading on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Gold for October delivery in Tokyo declined 3.4% at 2,263 yen a gram ($727 an ounce) at 10:22 a.m. local time.

The dollar advanced for the second day against a weighted basket of six major currencies after the Bank of England and the European Central Bank slashed benchmark interest rates to stimulate slumping economies.

The ECB reduced its main refinancing rate by 50 basis points to 3.25%. The BOE slashed its key rate by 1.5 percentage points to 3%. Switzerland''s central bank lowered its benchmark rate to 2% from 2.5%.

NEW YORK : Gold prices fell again in New York as the dollar rose against the euro ahead of an expected rate cut and reduced bullion''s appeal as an alternative investment.

Dealers also awaited the release of US nonfarm payrolls data on Friday, which could further stoke fears of a global recession and drive investors into less volatile assets.

Gold was trading at $738.65 an ounce, down $1.95 an ounce from New York''s notional close on Wednesday, when it dropped around $20 due to a firmer dollar and tumbling oil.

Bullion has gained as much as 6.2% this week to hit a session high of $768. It was still down from a two-month high of $931 hit in October but significantly higher than a 13-month low of $680.80 also struck last month.

The euro fell to $1.2905 after data showed the euro zone service sector tumbling to a decade low, adding to the view the European Central Bank will cut interest rates by 50 basis points from the current 3.75% level.

Other precious metals also tracked gold lower, with platinum falling more than 4% after hitting a two-week high in the previous season on bargain hunting and Anglo Platinum, the world''s biggest producer of platinum, shut its smelter.

Platinum was trading at $832.50 ounce, down $30.00 from New York''s notional close on Wednesday, when it rallied to a two-week high of $882 an ounce on bargain hunting.

Many banks and hedge funds have borrowed in dollars and yen and used that money to invest in euros, emerging markets, commodities and equities. Now they are being forced to pay back these loans, so they have had to sell commodities, stocks, emerging markets and euros to get dollars and yen. This has created a buying frenzy in dollars and yen, and in turn exaggerated market volatility.

Right from the beginning of the year, the World Gold Council has been harping on its new forecast that Indiâ?Ts gold consumption will cross 1,000 ton mark this year. But, after that many things happened.

Gold prices soared to such levels that will make buying the precious metal almost impossible for common man in India. Prices set records after the global market crash, which left several big banks and financial institutions dry.

The country is the largest single market for the precious metal, much of it in the form of jewellery.

So, it consumes about a quarter of global production â?" 700 to 800 tonnes a year.

But, things are changing fast. If an average household doesnâ?Tt have enough money to feed its kids, naturally people will put off their gold buying plans. That is what was witnessed this Diwali in India.

Gold sales did not show much increase in India this Diwali compared to last one.

The reason is that cautious Indians are sceptical about their future. They donâ?Tt know whether they will have a job next year.

Again, people in states like Gujarat, a major gold consuming state, suffered a lot due to the stock market collapse. Gujaratis have the highest exposure in stock markets and they took a heavy beating this time because of the Sensexâ?Ts climb down from 21000 mark to 8000 mark.

Considering these facts, the World Gold Councilâ?Ts prediction about consumption of yellow metal rising to 1,000 tonne seems to be a bit farfetched.

nhu cầu Vàng vật chất từ những nơi tiêu thụ Vàng nhiều nhất TG cũng sụt giảm nghiêm trọng.

Vàng đang chịu nhiều áp lực và chỉ có xu hướng đi xuống

Vàng hiện có tăng giá tạm thời chăng nữa thì cũng là động tác nâng lên để đập xuống mà thôi

Mọi yếu tố bây giờ đều gây áp lực rất lớn đối với Vàng
